Hi Elicia, great question, especially at the start of a new school year!
So, as a parent you can make decisions about what you post, BUT only for your own kids.
Please be very careful, particularly when involving other children…. even taking another child’s picture is a form of processing, even if you don’t post it!
The child is not technically old enough to give an adequate level of consent, so before you even take a picture (let alone post it) you should always obtain the permission of their parent or guardian.
If this isn’t practical, for example there is another child in the background unintentionally and you can’t contact their parent, make sure you blur out the image so they aren’t recognisable.
